The cemetery directions leaving from Roseau on Highway #89, drive south 14 miles to Wannaska, continue south for another 5 miles. You will now be watching for county road #18, turn left (east) & drive 1 1/2 miles. You will see the cemetery sign & church on your right (south) side.

History

This cemetery established 1910 with 1/2 acre given to the Bethlehelm Congregation by John Johnson dated 1 July 1914. The Cemetery sign is next to the driveway as you enter unto this road to the south is the church (which is no longer used). You will drive east a short ways to enter the cemetery. The total acreage now is 2.5 acres (1973 atlas). This cemetery has been referred to as the Bethlehem Cemetery. The flag pole is given by the American Legion: Dedicated in honor of all those that served.

The cemetery is owned by the Golden Valley Cemetery Association, which is still being used for burials today & is in very good condition. Roland Anderson is the sexton. The sale of family plots, perpetual care & other donations help maintain the cemetery grounds. Yearly spring clean up days are held with volunteered help.
