Take Hwy 5 north to East 76, then turn right on it and go to U Hwy. Turn left onto U Highway and go on it until you go down a long hill and come to where it goes over Bryant Creek. It is located in the curve of U Highway, just before you come upon the crossing of Bryant Creek on the South side.
Part of the original cemetery is on the right-of-way of the highway and on higher ground across Bryant Creek on the south side. This is across the hill from the old Blankenship farm, which is south of Mansfield, just beside the road on the lower side.
The information was transcibed by an old school teacher from the area about 1984, given to my uncle, Robert Goforth of California.
This cemetery is abandoned now and difficult to find, hidden in the bushes which have grown over it. There are only two headstones left and 5 rocks to mark the graves plus many unmarked graves. Many markers were destroyed when the highway went through.
