Directions to cemetery - Travel 5 miles west of Halltown, Missouri on Highway 96 to M Highwa y. Go north on M Highway for 1.5 miles to Farm Road 2045. Turn East at Farm Road 2045 and follow it 1.5 miles. Turn South on a small lane for 0.2 miles to the cemetery.

Misemer Cemetery is a beautiful old cemetery located among tall, green cedar trees in the hills of Lawrence County, Missouri.

The land was donated by William M. Misemer and Mary E. Misemer in 1877 to I. J. West and Robert Kimmins, Trustee's for a public burying ground according to the deed (Deed Book R, Page 493). A Commemorative gift from Frank and Edna Pruitt allows for the maintenance of the cemetery.

The cemetery was originally surveyed by Fred G. Mieswinkel in 1970. Carolyn (Brown) Slavens, Kenneth Slavens and Katrina Brown resurveyed the cemetery June 30, 2002.
