To reach the Pine Grove Cemetery travel north on Hwy 98 out of Lucedale about 7 miles. Just after crossing the county line, turn east onto Vernal Road until we get to Palestine Gardens Road where we turn south just a short distance. The cemetery is on the east or left side of the road beside the church. The cemetery is one mile north of the intersection with Ford James Road.

The Pinegrove Cemetery is owned and maintained by the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. This cemetery is sometimes referred to as the Ball Cemetery.

The cemetery is well kept and surrounded by a chain link fence on all sides. There are several unmarked graves in this cemetery.

All visible graves were recorded using all existing and legible tombstone and marker inscriptions on Mar 02, 2007, when I walked this cemetery.
