Starting at the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Holly Springs Rd. (SR. 1152), in downtown Holly Springs, turn west at the traffic light onto New Hill Rd., (SR.1152), which is the name for Holly Springs Rd. when it crosses Hwy. 55. Go about 4 blocks to Douglas Street, which will be on the left. Turn into Douglas Street and the church will be immediately visible a little way ahead on your right. The cemetery is behind the church.

Listed in Wake Co. records as "Douglas Chapel AME Zion Chapel, on 6.04 Acres, and noting the church was built in 1983, the cemetery was in use prior to the church construction. A tidy cemetery in a pleasant neighborhood. There are a number of unmarked graves. The cemetery belongs to the church. There is space for more burials.
