Directions: From downtown Raleigh; Go West on Hillsborough Street (NC 54) to I-440, the Outer Beltline, go Southwest toward Apex, 2.7 miles. Exit I-440, US 1 via ramp at sign reading "Exit 1 I-440/I-40/US-64 E. Outer Beltline to Durham, Rocky Mount and US-70" and go Southwest 1.2 miles. Turn left on Walnut Street and go Southeast for.2 miles. Turn right on Piney Plains Road and go 1.4 miles to Piney Plains Christian Church Cemetery.

The cemetery belongs to the church. There are vacant plots. The church and cemetery are located in an extremely fast developing area in Cary that very recently was mostly rural. Situated between housing developments and shopping centers there is a strong possibility of widening this 2 lane road which could be problematic for the cemetery.
