Price-Doub Cemetery
Shotwell, Wake County, North Carolina
Lat: 35° 44' 25"N, Lon: 78° 26' 10"W
Contributed by Wayne Schulz, Dec 17, 2007 [knightdalehistoric@gmail.com]. Total records = 9.
To reach this cemetery drive north out of Shotwell on Major Slade Road, turn right or east onto Turnipseed Road and continue for about ½ mile. The cemetery is on the south side of Turnipseed Road. There is at road edge a large stone wall surounding the cemetery. I did not find out who owns and maintains this cemetery, which is in good condition. Some maps call this the Doub Cemetery.
I walked and photographed this cemetery on Dec 15, 2007. All data taken from tombstones and is to the best of my knowledge all of the graves in the cemetery, besides the three unmarked vaults.
