Directions: Go south from Raleigh on Hwy. 401 (Fayetteville Rd.) to the intersection of Hwy. 401 and SR 1010. At the traffic light go east (left) on SR 1010 for 2.2 miles to the intersection of 1010 and Old Stage Rd. At the light turn south (right) on Old Stage Rd. (SR 1006) and go 4.6 miles to the church and cemetery on your left. Parking is available.
A church cemetery with room for more burials in a tranquil rural area. The cemetery is in fair condition.
here are many unreadable home-made monuments and many slabs with names and dates attempted to be scratched onto the surface. There are some completely unmarked graves. Wherever it was possible an attempt was made to decipher the hand inscribed names and dates.
