Contributed by Shirley Olson, Jul 08, 2005 [shirley32olson@yahoo.com]. Total records = 7.
From High House Rd. (SR 1615), Cary, take Davis Drive (SR 1613) north .7 miles to Creek Park Drive, turn right (east) onto Creek Park Drive for .4 miles. This cemetery sits on .5 acres on the north side of the road and is set back and hidden from view. You must look closely through trees and undergrowth to see the chain link fence surrounding the cemetery. The enclosed area is rather overgrown The gates are padlocked.
It is a family cemetery, no longer in use. Surrounded by homes in a rapidly urbanizing area it was farm land not many years past. It is owned by descendants of the Upchurch family.
I transcribed from all existing headstones on Jul 03, 2005.
