From Murray Nebraska: go 1 mile east on State Highway until you reach the intersection of US Highway 75 and Highway 1, turn north on Highway 75 and go 1 mile until your reach Rock Bluff Road. At Rock Bluff Road turn east and go four miles until you a gravel road. Turn north on gravel and go 1 3/4 miles until you see a gray house on the east side sitting on a bluff. The cemetery is behind this house near the woods. Get permission from the owner before looking at it.
This is a family cemetery. The Doom family was one of the early settlers in Eastern Cass County Nebraska arriving there in the 1850's. When I visited the cemetery with the owner of the land on Apr 2 2002, the headstones were lying down in the ground. One of the headstones has been broken in three places. It made me sad to think that nobody cares for this little cemetery. The shame of it is that this family was one of the early settlers and we should honor that.- Anne Braun
