This cemetery is located on South NM 337 about 5 miles south of the Sandia Ranger station in Tijeras and Interstate 40 on Green Shadows Road in Cedro.

The cemetery is called Cedro Cemetery on some maps. Cedro is Spanish for "cedar" and there are cedar trees in the area. The Cedro settlement is in Cedro Canyon.

This cemetery was walked in 2006 and additional historical records were used to correct and add to the information. There is only an occasional burial now.
