Big Meadow Cemetery is located about 3 miles south of Lovelock, on the southeast or left side of Interstate 80 between the highway and the Union Pacific railroad tracks.
Many markers in this cemetery are/were wood boards or wood crosses and many are missing or are illegible. This cemetery is in good condition and is still in use.
I visited the cemetery and copied from all existing tombstones in 1989. Mention of membership in fraternal organizations was omitted.
