From Lovelock take Lone Mountain road for about 2 miles west, then turn right or north for another mile. The cemetery will be on the right side of the road, just after a few lone burial spots.

This record doesn't represent all the people in this cemetery. There are numerous graves without markers. Many graves have wood boards or crosses and many of these markers are illegible.

Lone Mountain Cemetery is in good condition and is still in use.

I visited the cemetery and copied from all existing tombstones in 1989. Mention of membership in fraternal organizations was omitted.
