Blue Springs Cemetery (Ferguson Cemetery)
Oswego County, New York

Stowell Drive, Richland NY

Lat: 43° 33' 46"N, Lon: 76° 02' 16"W

Contributed by Kathy Last, Jul 26, 2003 [kllast@juno.com] Total records = 16.

The cemetery is located at the end of Stowell Drive, a dead-end road, south off Rte #2 in Richland, New York.

The cemetery is not maintained at all and appears to have been completely abandoned. There is only one stone standing, all the rest are lying on the ground and broken. Several of the stones found were partially buried in the ground. There were 3 completely illegible stones and two partial stones that were illegible.

Virginia Ackerman and I transcribed all existing tombstones in this cemetery when we visited it on Oct 03, 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
