From Highway 395, 17 miles South of Pilot Rock, turn right onto the Gurdane Rd and heading west go about 8 miles on the dirt road, which in some places is very rocky. It winds up over the hills and dips down into draws. On your left you will spot it.

About a mile before you reach the Gurdane Cemetery, down in the hollow is the Patterson Gravesite on the left hand side of the road right beside the road. It has been built up with a rock wall.
