Hanover Church Cemetery
Beaver County, Pennsylvania

The cemetery is located about a half mile west from the intersection of Route 30 and 18 in Hanover Township, Beaver County. From Route 30 go south on Route 18 until Weber Road. Turn onto Weber Road. The cemetery is located between the first and second houses on Weber. There is a sign for the cemetery and it is visible from the road. Turn onto the one-lane dirt road that leads to the cemetery.

Hanover Church Cemetery was also known as Hanover Pioneer Cemetery. The cemetery belongs to the Hanover Presbyterian Church, located about 1000 yards from the cemetery, off of Route 18. Some of the original settlers of the area are buried here. This area used to be Virginia.

The cemetery is well maintained, although it no longer accepts new burials. On one side is a corn field, on the opposite side is a lawn belonging to private owners and the other two sides of the cemetery are lined with woods.

I walked this cemetery and compiled these records in the summer of 2003.
