The cemetery dates back to 1870, with the original section positioned in the back of the church building. In that same year, the church added another 2.5 acres to the cemetery along eastern and southern sides of the building.

By the mid-20th century, the church needed more land to accommodate its growing congregation. It acquired more land to the southern sections. In 2010, the church added a columbarium.

To date, the cemetery occupies about 5 acres of ground, with approximately 2,500 grave spaces and 80 columbarium niches in the cemetery.
