Slonaker Cemetery
Aleppo Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania

From Waynesburg follow Route 21 West approximately 6.5 miles through the town of Rogersville and to a blinking yellow light. Bear to the right and stay on Route 21 West for another 14 miles, passing through the town of Wind Ridge. Make a left onto Aleppo Road. Follow for 2.8 miles. Bear right onto McCracken Road and follow for 4.2 miles as you briefly pass into the state of West Virginia. At the stop sign, turn left onto Greene Valley Road and follow for .7 miles. Turn right onto Palmer Road. The cemetery is straight ahead.

The cemetery is in good condition and is maintained on a regular basis. A few stones are worn badly and a few are broken in half. I found six illegible markers and one base with no stone upon it. Burials still occur here, although infrequently. The last was in 2007.

I walked the cemetery on Sep 21, 2008. This transcription is complete and includes all existing stones. I also have digital photographs of all the stones as well as many views of the cemetery itself and would share them with anyone interested.
