Directions from Fredericktown-Millsboro: from Water Street/SR 88 turn left at Crawford Rd for 0.3 mi, turn right at the 3rd cross street to stay on Crawford Rd for 1.3 mi, take a slight right at Crawford Rd/Sr2024 for 289 ft, take the 1st left onto Buckingham Rd/Sr2024 for 115 ft, bear right to stay on Buckingham Rd/Sr2024 for 0.7 mi, Buckingham Cemetery is on the left.

According to the DAR, the Buckingham Cemetery is located on top of a high hill, beautifully situated. This was once the private cemetery of the Buckingham family but several other families are also buried there.

Two stone pillars stand at the entrance of the drive which is lined with tall trees. It is surrounded by a farm and many pine trees and is not visible from the road. Only a small sign marks the entrances. The earliest interment was in 1819. Many old stones are unreadable

This data was collected by the DAR and found in the genealogy section of the Washington PA library. The data is from 1937 but the burial records are not complete as the cemetery is still in use.
