Directions: From Burgettstown, PA, head south on S Main St toward John L Brunner Bypass Rd for 0.1 mi, sharp left at John L Brunner Bypass Rd/PA-18 N, continue to follow PA-18 N for 0.8 mi, take the 2nd right onto Bavington Rd for 3.0 mi, turn right at Steubenville Pike for 1.8 mi, turn left at Campbell Rd for 2.2 mi, turn right at Bigger Rd/Sr4002 for 174 ft, take the 1st left onto Sr4001/Washington Rd for 0.2 mi, on right.

According to Boyd Crumrine's, "History of Washington County, Pennsylvania with Biographical Sketches of many of it's Pioneers and Prominent Men" (Philadelphia: L. H. Leverts & Co., 1882), in Aug 27, 1833, the Presbytery of Chartiers approved a church at Robinson after the local residents petitioned several times for their own place of worship separate from Burgettstown and Montour. Land was donated to the Church for a burial ground by Matthew Bigger, the oldest son of Thomas and Elizabeth, belonging to him adjoining the Church property. The first burial was Maria, the daughter of John and Sarah Wilson, May 22, 1833.

This data was collected by the DAR and found in the genealogy section of the Washington PA library. The data is from 1937 so the burial records are not complete.
