History
Gate of Heaven Cemetery was established in 1962 on 102 acres of land, and is one of the newer cemeteries in the Diocese. Nearly half of the acreage is still undeveloped as of this publishing. It's also one of the busiest cemeteries in the Diocese, averaging about 550 burials per year.
