The Oak Grove Cemetery is in south central Wayne County, Tennessee. To reach the cemetery, from Florence, Alabama, travel state hwy. 17 north (13 in Tennessee) for 14 miles. Turn left (west) onto Pumping Station Rd. and go 3.1 miles. Turn right (north) at the crossroads just past the automobile salvage yard. Go about 50 yards and turn left down Oak Grove Church Road, a narrow winding paved road.

This cemetery is owned and maintained by the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and is very well taken care of. The cemetery is on the north side of the church. Josiah Fowler was the founder of Oak Grove cemetery as noted on his head stone.
