From Thornton, take FM 2749 to LCR 728. Turn left, go 1.3 miles. The cemetery is on the left.

Miles Morgan King donated this land, to the community, on Oct 08, 1886, to be used as a cemetery. Thus the name of the cemetery. I do not know who maintains it now, but it is in very good condition.

When the King Cemetery was read in the mid 1970's, there were three graves listed, which I found no marker for. An asterisk * has been placed after the entry for each of their names.

This is a complete recording of this all existing headstones in this cemetery as of Aug, 2003. There are perhaps other unmarked graves.
