Crescent Cemetery

From Houston, travel Hwy 59 South, towards Victoria. Take exit 102. Make a right on FM 102 and travel approximately 6 miles until you get to Glen Flora, Texas. Turn left at FM 960. Travel 1.4 miles until you come to County Road 461. Make a left on 461 (this is a dirt road). Travel about 1.3 miles, follow signs and cross over wooden bridge. You will see the cemetery on your right.

There is not a name on the gate, but according to the old timers from the Glen Flora area, the cemetery is known as Crescent Cemetery.

If you are facing the cemetery (entrance), infant and children are buried on the right, and the adults are buried on the left. Additionally, the deceased are buried in rows, starting from the back of the cemetery, in accordance with the date of their death. There are 7 unreadable infant/children crosses because the tombstones are old.

The first burial site at the back (left) is Dolores Vargas, b. 4/1900 d. 3/30/1929. There is one exception. If facing the entrance of the cemetery and you look straight to the back end of the fence, there is a burial site of a husband and wife whose surname is Limas. The husband is Precilano Limas, b. 1/4/1888, d. 3/29/1925. Wife information is unreadable. There are six unreadable tombstones because they are old.
