This cemetery is located northeast of Richmond and southeast of Fredericksburg, east of I-95 and US 301 on Frog Level Rd., at the intersection of Frog Level Rd. (Rt. 600) and Reedy Mill Rd. (Rt. 601).

The cemetery is located beside the Mount Vernon United Methodist church so I assume it is maintained by the church staff and descendents of those buried there. This cemetery is is in good condition and appears to still be in use (most recent burial I'm aware of was Jan. 2006).

For accuracy I have also compared my transcription against a partial one done by another researcher, and to a partial transcription published in Cemeteries of Caroline County, Virginia, Vol. One - Public Cemeteries by Herbert Ridgeway Collins (Willow Bend Books, Westminister, MD 2000).

My mother Criss Faison, her parents and I walked this cemetery in September 2003, using digital cameras. I later transcribed from these photos. There are a couple of illegible stones and several unmarked graves.
