The cemetery is located behind Olivet Church, which is on Rt. 14 "The Trail" at the intersection with Rt. 611 (Tastine Rd.) in the Shanghai area of King and Queen County.

This is a rural, agricultural area, the nearest towns are West Point to the south and Saluda to the east. The cemetery is in very good condition and is still in use. It is probably maintained by the staff and congregation of Olivet Church and the descendents of those interred there.

I composed the transcription from digital photographs taken by my mother, Criss Faison, and I in early May 2007. We attempted to record all marked graves. In a few cases where the stones gave only initials I have added names in parentheses.
