From Hillsboro, go 2 miles north/northwest on Highway 9 (Charles Town Rd) until you reach Harpers Ferry Road or 671. Turn onto Harpers Ferry Roadand go north/northeast for .50 miles. The cemetery is on the west side of the road.

This was originally a small church cemetery owned by the Salem Church of Mechanicsville. The church was founded in 1834 but no longer exists. The church is now somebody's residence. The last burial took place in 1975.

I walked this cemetery on Feb 10, 2004. This transcription contains only the existing and legible headstone readings.
