Newton Family Cemetery
McCarthys Corner, Stafford County, Virginia

Lat: 38° 19' 18"N, Lon: 77° 22' 45"W

Submitted by Anne Braun, Oct 01, 2007 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 3.

In McCarthys Corner, from the intersection of Highway 218 and Route 604 (Belle Plain Road), go northeast/east on Route 604 about 2 miles. Turn left or north onto Trails End Ln for .1 miles and turn left onto Locust Hill Road and continue northwest for .2 miles.

The cemetery is on the west side of the road near the property owner's house. Ask permission from the owner to see the cemetery. This is small family cemetery that is in good condition. There is only three headstones there and one is broken.

I walked and read all existing and legible stones and markers in this cemetery on Sep 29, 2007.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
