Located on Highway 97, 2.1 miles north of the Orondo Community Presbyterian Church in Orondo WA.

The Orondo Cemetery is owned and operated by Cemetery District #1 of Douglas County.

It is three acres in size on land donated by John Smith at 11:00 a.m. on 28 May 1889. The first internment was of Eddie Cannon who died 29 Nov 1888. (The land was promised by John Smith before the legal filing occurred.

* moved from the Brays Cemetery - All graves at Brays Cemetery had been moved by 1 Mar 1982 according to Orondo Cemetery District Records.
Most of the above have obits on files at the WAGS library in Wenatchee.
