The cemetery is located "downtown" across the railroad tracks. Take I-395 northbound. Take left at Eltopia West Road crossing over the I-395 southbound traffic. Go across railroad tracks and pass the grain silo and up the hill. Cemetery will be on the right

Eltopia cemetery has been there awhile: earliest birthdate: 1816, latest birthdate: 1975 (1980 for the dog), earliest deathdate: 1881, latest deathdate: 2002. It is surrounded by a chainlink fence and has lots of overgrown weeds. It looks like townfolks do take care of it but not on a full-time basis.

Michael McCormick and I surveyed this cemetery on Sep 01, 2003. We also compared our findings with the cemetery burial records. We found 213 burial sites, but not all provided identifiable information.
