Truehl Cemetery
Roxbury Twp, Dane County, Wisconsin
Submitted by Kathy Waddell, Jul 26, 2005 [kaffe03@yahoo.com]. Total records = 13.
Location: Off Highway 12 north of Springfield Corners on Collins Road. Directly across from large white (needs paint) farmhouse back in the woods. Entrance marked by 2 cement markers. On east side of road.
This cemetery is on private property and permission should be granted by the property owner, located directly across the street from the cemetery, to visit it. Permission was granted to us, by Mrs. Collins on Jul 23, 2005, to survey the cemetery.
The cemetery is unkept and in the woods. Several stones are broken and only located by moving brush. We compared our findings with the State Historical Society of Wisconsin records, which showed that recently only one stone was still left standing. We found 7 stones, only one can be seen from the road.
Emily Fichter and I visited this cemetery on Jul 23, 2005.
