Shields Township
Lat: 43°51'42"N, Lon: 89°18'47"W

Contributed by Larry L Ketchum, Mar 29, 2003 [xgkids@maqs.net]. Total records = 11.

From Montello, proceed north 4.5 miles on Hwy 22 to CTH J, turn left (west) on CTH J and go .3 mile. Cemetery is on north side of road up an embankment.

This cemetery does not appear to have been used in years.

I have transcribed from my readings, which I took from all known tombstones, on Sep 26, 1997. I also found one unknown marked by homemade wooden cross, WWII flag holder.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
