From Slanesville, go north/northwest on County Road 3 for 6 miles until you reach Jersey Mountain Road. Turn there and go 2.5 miles north. The cemetery is on the west side of the road.

This is a small cemetery, sitting in the hills of West Virginia. A majority of the burials are from the Stump Family. It is across the road from where the Cornwell School used to be and a church was south of the cemetery, now gone.

The sign as you enter the cemetery says "Noland Cemetery" leading one to believe it was started by a family or person by that name. I can find no other information about this cemetery. It does appear to still be active.

I visited the Noland Cemetery on Oct 29, 2003, transcribing all existing and/or legible markers. There are many fieldstones with no names.
