Directions: Located on hill across from Sugar Tree Road Griffithsville, WV. From Duval High School, take the main road toward Hamlin. A short distance from the high school is a curve bearing right. After that curve you will see Eden Baptist Church on the left and the turnoff to Sugar Tree Road just beside it. Continue on the main road to the very next curve (it bears to the right also). Just as this curve straightens out there is a dirt road to the right, which goes up a hill. That road leads to the May Cemetery. It can be tricky to turn onto the first time so I recommend passing the dirt road, turning around, and entering it from the opposite direction until it becomes familiar.

The inscriptions listed here are abbreviated versions of the actual text on the headstones. All military markers will be noted with �beside the name. If I have estimated a birth date then I will denote it with cDOB (calculated date of birth).
