Take Rte 12 south from Ballard, turn right onto Pinhook Road, turn right onto Stinking Lick Road. When dirt road forks at white house, turn right and take 1st dirt path on left up the mountain, take the fork to the right.

This is a small family cemetery up on the mountain, which is well maintained. There are approximately 20 unmarked stones. This cemetery holds family from Alexander Elliott of Ireland and wife Sarah/Sallie McCormick of Monroe Co WV

I walked and read this cemetery on May 22, 2007.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
