Ingram Cemetery (Lemley/Bull Creek Cemetery)
Pleasants County, West Virginia

Lat: 39° 20' 27"N, Lon: 81° 19' 33"W

Contributed by Teresa Fordyce, Apr 07, 2003 [s82c43@citynet.net]. Total records = 25.

Take Rt. 50 East out of Parkersburg for about 15 miles. Turn left off of Rt. 50 at the Deerwalk/Rt. 31 exit. Travel Rt. 31 for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Isaac Fork Road. Follow Isaac Fork Road for about 3 miles. At the end of Isaac Fork you will come to a concrete bridge, cross the bridge and bear to the left. Just around the bend there is a driveway to the right that goes up over the hill. The cemetery sits at the top of the hill.

This Cemetery is on private property owned by Charles Sutphin. The cemetery is no longer in use, the last known burial being in 1946. The cemetery is surrounded by a wire fence, but the grounds are not maintained and covered with weeds.

Pleasants County researcher, Gerald Bills, provided three names of people also buried in this cemetery, but I found no stones for them. These listings are followed by an asterisk*

This is a complete reading of all existing headstones when I walked and transcribed this cemetery in Apr 17, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
