Vaughn Cemetery
Kanawha, Wood County, West Virginia

Lat: 39° 12' 24"N, Lon: 81° 28' 18"W

Contributed by Teresa Fordyce, May 23, 2003. last edited Jul 22, 2007 [s82c43@verizon.net]. Total records = 26.

Take Rt. 47 East out of Parkersburg for about 7 miles. Cemetery is to the left, at the junction of Rt. 47 and Stillwell Road.

This is a small family cemetery. It is still used occasionally and is well maintained. The property was once owned by the Vaughn family.

I walked and transcribed this cemetery on May 24, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
