History

Valley Cemetery was originally surveyed by Howard F. Bell in July 1915. There is no sign indicating the name of the cemetery. The enclosed part of the cemetery includes Blocks 9 through 17.

There are other grave sites that appear to have graves but no markers. An old trapper was the first burial here, before the 1915 survey, and he remains unknown.
