History

River View Cemetery was established in 1882 as the "River View Cemetery Association" by a group of Portland families.

From I-5, take the Terwilliger Blvd exit and follow the signs for Lewis and Clark College to get onto Terwilliger southbound. Turn left (down the hill) on Taylors Ferry Road. There are two large cemeteries on Taylors Ferry: the first is Beth Israel and the second is Riverview. Both entrances are well marked and on your right.
