Elkins Cemetery
Highwater, Brome County, Quebec
Contributed by Joan Cruickshank, Oct 22, 2007 . Total records = 3.
From the Eastern Townships Autoroute 10, take the exit for Eastman, Quebec, and follow Route 245 South for about 16 km. until you reach the intersection at Route 243. Follow Route 243 South to Mansonville, and continue on that route to Highwater, Quebec. Just prior to the American border, you will see Chemin Rodrique. Turn left onto that road, go over the railroad tracks, and at the fork in the road, bear left onto Colgan Road which is a dead end road.
This burial plot only consists of three white headstones and sits neatly in a field not far from the road.
I walked this cemetery in October of 2007, and transcribed from the headstones to the best of my ability.
