Kinney Cemetery
Stanstead County, Quebec
Contributed by Leslie Nutbrown, Apr 06, 2006 . Total records = 8.
From Coaticook, take Route 206 toward Sainte Edwidge. After a few miles watch for a small gravel road on your right called Chemin de la Brure. The cemetery is a short distance on this road on your left.
At the extreme northeast of Stanstead County and only a stone's throw from Compton County lies this small cemetery.
As of this date, it is not clearly visible because it has only recently been "unearthed" by members of the Compton Historical Society who have begun repairing this abandoned cemetery in October 2005.
Susan Nutbrown and I are involved in its restoration and I have recorded all the names we could find on the stones most of which are lying flat, Apr 05, 2006.
