The historical county of Stanstead is a region located in the eastern townships of Quebec, Canada. It was first settled by English and American loyalists in the late 18th century and has a rich history dating back to the early days of Quebec's colonization. The area is known for its beautiful landscapes, charming small towns, and numerous historic sites, including its cemeteries.

The cemeteries of Stanstead County reflect the area's diverse cultural and religious heritage. Some of the oldest cemeteries in the region are located in the towns of Stanstead and Ayer's Cliff and date back to the early 19th century. These cemeteries contain the graves of many of the area's first settlers, including loyalists who fled the United States during the American Revolution.
