Alaska Cemetery is on the southeast corner of 68th Street and Thornapple River Drive in the village of Alaska. There two entrances on 68th Street going through the cemetery with a dirt, or gravel drive.
In the older section of this cemetery there are many broken, older stones, there were overgrown graves along the edges, and there were many tree branches scattered about. The setting is quiet and beautiful, and there is a fence along the south side, where a wooded ravine falls off into the Thornapple River. The rest of the cemetery has no fencing or sign. Across Thornapple River Drive is a newer section of cemetery with a gravel road running through it and no trees. The cemetery is maintained by the township.
This is not a complete listing of burials in this cemetery! The records below were provided by contributors to Interment.net. Last edited Apr 10, 2007. Total records = 480.
