Rice Cemetery
Milan Township, Monroe County, Michigan
Contributed by Carol Gore, Jul 15, 2001 [lyonsden1@alltel.net].
Total records = 597.
Rice Cemetery is located on Ridge Road, West of the Village of Milan.
Stones originally copied by Mrs. C.W. (Mary E.) Reinhart, Vital Statistics Chairman for the F.E.R.A and signed by Mrs. C. C. Rogers Statistics Chairman for the F.E.R.A.
The Federal Emergency Relief Administration was a part of the WPA Program in the 1930's. This information could be a result of that effort. The typewriter used was obviously an old manual. The copy is difficult to read and has many obvious errors and ommissions. Information sent to submitter by Bryan Taylor Nov 1, 2000.
