Total records = 2,281.
This cemetery is located south of Waterville, just on the outskirts
of town and is well maintained by the Douglas County Cemetery Association.
A mausoleum is located at the top of the hill in the back part of
the Waterville Cemetery.
I first visited this cemetery in 1999, returning in 2001 and
2002. These records are a combination of all my previous transcriptions
along with Sexton files, provided me by Ken Borders, who works
on the cemetery board for Douglas Cemetery District #2. In most
cases, this gives us the location in the cemetery. In the first
transcription they are separated into three areas, this has all
in one listing, with location at the end of the entry.
This transcription includes all records up to Sep 19, 2002. There
is a possibility of duplicates. If anyone finds one please tell
me.
